The Southern Ghost Girls Tours and Paranormal Investigations, LLC is a team of Women, lead by investigator Lesley Ann, who share the love of the diverse culture of our great country The United States, it’s history, and Investigating the unknown or paranormal. You will be lead on a real live interactive paranormal investigation on our tours and investigations. Our tours and investigations actually allow you to handle our equipment to record any findings or you can bring your own.

We specialize in places in the Southern United States and specifically places in Alabama as it is dear and near to our hearts. We would love to have you join us on one of our tours and investigations so you can get to experience a real live paranormal investigation for yourself! Meet The Team

Lesley Ann

Founder, Team Leader and Investigator

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Lesley grew up in the South as an Alabama Native and enjoys all things Southern. She studied dance growing up and has performed and taught dance in several locations in Alabama. Lesley is a graduate of UAB and is a mother and business owner. Her love of travel, history, science and the unexplained or the paranormal is what gave her the idea to start her Southern Ghost Girls Tours and Paranormal Investigations, LLC Tours and Paranormal Investigations project. Lesley has travelled extensively all over the United States, most notably the Southern United States and has enjoyed learning the history of all the fascinating cities the South has to offer.

Lesley has been participating in history tours and investigations for over 20 years and has always seen the field of paranormal investigation combined with the history as fascinating. She has always taken the approach that no one really knows for sure what all is out there when your speaking of the paranormal and unexplained occurrences. She has had unexplained phenomena and experiences happen to her since a child and goes into the investigations with an open mind. Lesley is a Christian and especially believes in Guardian Angels as she feels she has had one looking over her during her lifetime. Lesley would like for others to join her on the Southern Ghost Girls Tours and Paranormal Investigations, LLC tours and investigations to see for themselves how fun and exciting the investigations can be.

Makayla Neighbors

Hi! My name is Makayla Neighbors. I was born and raised in the beautiful mountain town of Jasper, Georgia. During the day, I am helping buyers and sellers with their real estate dreams in the North GA area. I became interested in the paranormal at the early age of 8 years old, when I started experiencing seeing things that I could not explain.

Over the years, I have seen apparitions and felt immense connections at different locations. Combining this with my love and passion for history, I enjoy participating in paranormal investigations and seeking out answers for our experiences while making connections with true historical facts. When I am not working or investigating the paranormal, I enjoy spending time with my family and my fur babies, traveling, and volunteering with the local historical society.

Kristin Blanchard

Paranormal Investigator

Kristin is from Childersburg, Alabama and has been with the team for two years. She works for ServisFirst Bank as their vault teller and when she is not busy doing Paranormal Investigations, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.

She is also a published model, enjoys diy projects, and researching haunted and historical places. Kristin has had paranormal experiences from a young age and truly loves being on the team where she can continue to hone her abilities.

Anna Woods

Hey I’m Anna Woods!
I’m from Decatur, AL
I have a passion for paranormal and animals!
I’ve always had a thing for animals and knew growing up my career goal had to do with them.
I started working at a pet store when I was 17 in 2007. Years later I am in management there doing the stuff I love to do. Sharing my passion on how to care for them.

Growing up also I developed a love for horror movies and then the ghost hunting shows we’re getting started and they intrigued me. Occasionally you would catch me with a goosebumps book, 13 Alabama ghost book or any other ghost book.

I was all in for the spooky stuff! Even in elementary my teacher would try to tell me to get something different. Well It just was not happening!
Years later, I started traveling and going to haunted places looking for that experience to confirm for myself that spirts are real.
In 2019 I noticed Southern Ghost Girls tours hosting tours near me and I just had to go to the tours! After 3 tours I joined the group because I can’t get enough! I love learning about the history of places and seeing if i can get any evidence related during an investigation.
A haunting is history just waiting to be heard!

Autobiography information – I am originally from Ohio/Pennsylvania. Currently in Athens, Alabama. I work in Information Technology. My hobbies are crafts and home remodeling. Part of several Jeep Wrangler clubs.

Sherri Hankey

Sherri Hankey has been a paranormal investigator with the Southern Ghost Girls since 2019. She is a Software Engineer from Cullman, Alabama who loves the paranormal, traveling, and watching Alabama Football.

Sherri first experienced the paranormal when she was 18 while visiting family in Hawaii. That experience led her to research the paranormal and become a paranormal investigator.

Benny Ledford

I was raised Florence, AL but I considered myself a native of Huntsville been here since 1988.

A Graduate of Virgina College of Huntsville In Electronics and Computer Information Systems and I work as a Information Technology Manager of a Beer Beverage Company. I have been dealing in the other sprits for the last fourteen years Ha Ha. I Have been interested in all things ghostly since High School and living
close to Shiloh battlefield.

I am a lifelong resident of Hartselle, Al.
I‘ve worked for 36 years in the optical business and the last 27 of those as a contractor at 3M in Decatur, as an optician and occupational health technician.

I enjoy being outdoors. I love to work in the garden growing flowers and food. I also really enjoy traveling and experiencing new adventures.

I have always been intrigued by the paranormal and “ghost stories”. I consider myself fortunate to be a part of the SGG paranormal team. I really enjoy learning the history of the locations that we investigate.
Our team is different from most which I believe sets us apart and give us great evidence at the end of day.
